The other morning I got ready to get into my “rhythm” for the day (I’ve written about that here). I opened my laptop, plugged my phone into the charger, got my music going, got my notepads, books of choice, and a cup of hot chocolate (I don’t do the hot chocolate often, just had a taste for it that day…).
Nonetheless, my computer froze, my phone powered off, my music started skipping, I had 1 sheet left on my notepad, I left my book(s) in another location, and my hot chocolate wasn’t so hot.
Hmph! At that moment – I was like wow…how in the world can all of this happen at one time simultaneously within moments. Humorously, I had one of those moments where I thought about doing a rewind and going back, get in the bed, and starting all over again.
I didn’t go back and get into the bed, but I did reboot my day and I started all over again. Literally!
I turned everything off and started talking to God as though I’d just opened my eyes. I cleared my head and I started all over again.
Sometimes you have to do that. Does your life, day, relationship, mind need a reboot? Sometimes you need to do a soft reboot and sometimes you need a hart reboot. It won’t hurt you. It’ll help more than you think! Enjoy your day!
